A Great Nation turns 70 years young...

Exactly 70 years back, the first PM of this venerable land, made the historic speech at the stroke of midnight. We had just come out of the brutal oppression of the colonial rule. The erstwhile Golden Sparrow had now become the impoverished and famished sparrow. But what a beautiful way to get back... We are now the fastest growing economy and are looked at as the only bright spot in the gloomy world. Just like the days when we were the Golden Sparrow.

           We must not forget our core values. The principles of truth, righteousness, love, peace, non-violence and sacrifice have always guided the destiny of this great nation. Some deluded ones raise anti-national slogans against this very beloved motherland. Had they been anywhere else they wouldn't even be breathing now. That is the high level of tolerance that Hindustan practices. Sanathana Dharma has been the foundation of this holy land. Statements like Samastha Lokaha Sukhino Bhavantu and Vasudeva Kutumbakam are glorified here.

            The economic might has been unleashed and national pride is at an all time high. Now let all witness the glorious rise of Bharat... Again!

I read this a few days back on the structure of the Vidhan Soudha at Bangalore. It was indeed enlightening to say the least. So I tool time to understand and try and make sense of "God's" work. Apparently , with "God", everything is slow. The metro is coming up so fast that I doubt even my grandchildren will be able to see the completed work! Also, "God", has a very interesting perspective on infra. It somehow makes sense to break down roads that are good and make them better and leave the undone roads to find their own salvation. The lakes have no respite either. The y have so much froth that I wont be surprised if few years down the line they market these lakes as natural bubble baths where bathing is at the person's own risk!

                      This "God" doesn't believe that cleanliness is next to Godliness. Recently, articles flashed that Bangalore has become the Garbage city from the Garden City!. Our "God" has taken this very seriously. Now we find garbage everywhere thereby living up to the newly given name! 

                      All I can say is, like God, the government is also incomprehensible. That's all I can say.
